The Concept: Instead of distorting your sound or adding delay, The Specificator is a Rule Enforcement Effects Pedal designed to give you a more disciplined tone. Once you have dialed in how your rules should be laid down, you can turn validation on to engage the rule engine.
The Waveform Graph in the bottom left shows how it works: The Specificator takes a chaotic, expressive guitar signal and strips it down into a perfectly sterile, almost computerized sine wave. While this may sound off-putting to your run-of-the-mill, rule-shredding, noise-bleeding, expressively chaotic, and exuberant guitar player, this is simply how things are done in the real world.
So, if you want to do things the right way, do them the right way!
