Imaginary Guitar Pedals for everyday use

There must be one for every purpose under the sun. Just imagine how much easier life could be!

Little Coloured Boxes

Guitarists love them, play them, collect them, and — more often than not — put all their hope in them

For anyone not familiar with the concept: A guitar effects pedal — sometimes called a stomp box, just a little disparagingly — is a sound processor that is placed on the floor in front of the guitarist. The guitar is connected, usually via cable, to the processor: You plug it into the input side. Then, you connect the output to even more pedals or to your guitar amp. These pedals are usually responsible for the unique sound of the electric guitar.

  • All Smiles - the happiness pedal
All Smiles is a simple but effective pedal that literally brings a smile on everyone’s face, player and audience alike.
  • The Confuser+ makes being on stage interesting again.
The Confuser+ with its sturdy metal casing in inscrutable red and two knobs mysteriously labeled 'Clockwise' and 'Counter-Clockwise' will never admit to being confusing, dubious, or unusable.
  • The Minimalist – perhaps one of the most stripped-down confuser pedals on the market
Probably one of the most stripped-down confuser pedals on the market — and that's what makes it so effective!
  • The Nastifier – a guitar pedal that will make your guitar tone seem unhinged. Perhaps frighteningly so.
This is a guitar pedal that will make your guitar tone seem really unhinged. You might be a nice person, you might be quite harmless. You might never be able to hurt a soul. This pedal will take care of that.

There should be one for everybody

What if we could solve everyday problems with just the turn of a few knobs and the press of a footswitch?

Being a devoted fan of effects pedals, I started inventing new, imaginary guitar pedals to put on t-shirts for musicians with a sense of humor, using AI to generate fictional posters and adverts for them. The concept soon spilled over from guitar playing into real life. Today, I firmly believe there is a pedal for every person on earth and every purpose under the sun.

  • The Correcter – it just might make things right
The Corrector instantly corrects your tone: takes it, bends it, tones it down if need be, and then straightens it out until it's faultless!
  • The Blackmailer – Extortion Pedal
The Blackmailer is one of the finest extortion pedals on the market. Generations of mobster guitarists put their trust in this little nasty brick of a pedal. Why shouldn't you?
  • The Ostracizer: A guitar pedal to get rid of the band
Reclaim the spotlight. Reclaim the stage. Reclaim your sanity, your eardrum, and your conscience. They are never going to learn and they don't help the sound. So mute them, one by one. There is no other solution.
  • HTTP-500 Internat Server Error
An HTTP 500 Internal Server Error means something went wrong on the website's server. So it's really not your problem even though right now it is!
  • The Riverbank harmonist – a barbershop guitar pedal to go full Wind in the Willows
This is a pedal to celebrate life with your friends by the riverside. It lets your guitar sing in instant harmony. Dial in as much of your animal pals as you can stomach. • Seal Squeak. A cute guitar pedal.
This is a pedal that will make you the star at every children's birthday party, and in nursery and primary school too, probably, because it's so cute and so adorable and really so… cute.
